Service Description
This is a practical and theory based qualification. This course enables you to deliver swimming lessons to children, and can be a great springboard into the leisure industry. Upon completion you will be a fully qualified swimming teacher, able to plan and deliver high quality swimming lessons, as well as accurately assess swimmers. This course will be completed at Wildern Leisure Centre, Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire, SO30 4EJ. If you are already working at a venue and would like to be assessed at your current venue please contact us at hello@wilddogfitness.co.uk and we can discuss this further. Course Times: Sunday 23rd August 530-815pm 24th - 28th August 830am - 530pm Location: Wildern Leisure Centre, Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire, SO30 4EJ. Please note there will be some pre course online e-learning to complete. This can be accessed upon booking and paying for the course. Assessment: There will be an online multiple choice questionnaire which will be completed at the end of the course. This will need to be done on a laptop or desktop with a webcam and the chrome browser. If you are unable to facilitate this please let us know and we can support you with technology where necessary. Practical teaching opportunities will be available throughout the course, you will perform both peer teaching (teaching the others on the course) and teaching younger swimmers. You will be assessed across a series of 6x lessons and given feedback throughout the process. If additional support is needed to complete the practical element this can be arranged during / post course.

Cancellation Policy
In order for us to run courses at a reasonable cost and to ensure cancellations are kept to a minimum please see our cancellation policy below: 7 days before the start of the course - Full cost of the course 8+ days before the start of the course - 50% of the course cost In the unlikely event that we Wild Dog Fitness need to cancel a course (due to low number of learners/ trainer sickness) we aim to give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternative. If a refund is required we aim to process this within 7 days.
